Render Shortcodes

In the PRO version you’re able to use shortcodes inside the tooltip field as well as on the action content field, which can be used to display content in a lightbox or below/next to the map.

In the example below, when we hover the dark green country (Spain) we see an image, which actually has a shortcode wrapped around:



We use the WordPress builtin caption shortcode to add a caption to the image. The tooltip content is actually the following:

This is just a simple example to demonstrate that shortcodes can render inside the tooltip. You can also use shortcodes in the Action Content field for all data entry types: regions, round markers, icon markers, image markers and labels.
